Ambassador Pierre Mayaudon, then Head of the EU Delegation in Dhaka, also attended this first meeting to share the experience gained through the EU Business Council and the EU-Bangladesh Business Climate Dialogue.
Ambassador Mayaudon encouraged the formation of Luxembourg Business Council and suggested that once this entity is formalized it could become a member of the EU Business Council in Bangladesh.
In order to include Luxembourg companies among the membership of the Luxemburg Business Council in Bangladesh, such companies based in the region (India, Singapore, Thailand etc.) will be approached and invited to join the LBCB. A similar outreach will be conducted towards the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce based in Luxembourg in order to identify companies that may be interested in joining the Luxemburg Business Council in Bangladesh.
